Mr. Jerry Okoko, Audit Committee

Mr. Jerry Okoko is a seasoned business executive with over twenty years of experience in delivering project development, project finance, consulting and advisory services to clients in the private, public and academia sectors. Jerry’s focus has been on Africa with a subject matter expertise in project finance and investment, as it relates to climate finance, renewable energy and development of infrastructure projects. He has helped advise national and sub-national clients (e.g. National governments, County governments and Municipal authorities) in articulating, defining and preparing projects for investment, identifying and integrating of capacity building to enable local empowerment and skills transfer, and making recommendations for optimized financing mechanisms. Jerry is widely traveled across the African continent and has catalyzed over $150 Million in infrastructure investments through the course of his work over the years engaging with clients in Africa. Jerry holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy & Finance from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (1994); and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Howard University in Washington, DC. (1991). In addition to English, Jerry is a native fluent speaker of Bulgarian and Kiswahili.
